We were saddened to learn of the death of Dr. Sheldon Cherry on March 23, 2014.   Dr. Cherry was Acting Principal of St. John’s College from August 2003 to June 2004, and also served as one of our Faculty Fellows, sitting on the Membership Committee for many years. Dr. Cherry taught in the Department of Civil Engineering at UBC from 1956 until his retirement in 1993, and during the 1980’s served as Associate Dean of Graduate Studies.

He will be missed.
