Resident Event Booking Form

Planning an event at the College?

Three weeks prior to a proposed event (when possible and especially if catering is being requested), submit a summary of the event to the Event Manager for approval, sjc.events@ubc.ca. Your event may need to be approved by the Principal, so the earlier the better!

Please include the following details:
– St. John’s College Resident Event Booking Form (refer to the Rate Sheet for equipment and room options)
– Purpose and benefit of the event
– Proposed budget
*Catering Notes

It is a significant expense to make catering arrangements (food + labour) and not all requests can be accommodated. You may be asked to come to office to discuss in more detail the needs of your event when catering is requested. Where possible, and when it is appropriate to the event, please consider purchasing snacks and setting them out at the event yourself. This would be an expense that would require prior approval and would be included in your event budget. If you need any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact:  sjc.events@ubc.ca

Digital Signage Submission

The College has three digital signage TVs:

Dining Hall – generally content just for resident

Alumni Hall – guest information + resident information

  • Please note: Submission must be made on the Friday the week prior display request. Efforts will be made to accomodate requests submitted later but cannot be guaranteed.
  • You will be advised after submission the duration accepted for your content. Content will expire after that date and you will need to resubmit content.
