At the second session we continued the conversation about how we can foster better linkages and community among colleagues from across UBC. We had so many great suggestions from those who attended the first session that we were still sorting through them when considering how to best shape session #2, but a consistent mix of informal time to network, plus a chance to have a more focussed conversation, based on brief remarks from a speaker was a consistent theme from feedback given.
Our speaker was Alden Habacon, Director, Intercultural Understanding Strategy Development, who talked about IU strategy with a focus on staff resilience and what that means for an institution like ours. Lunch was St. John`s Dining Society`s Greek buffet!
